Introduction

Korea Information Technology Network (KIN) was formed for purpose of developing an international network of information technology professionals, the companies, and investors, both within and outside of Korea.

It is well known that Koreans and Korean-Americans have played an important and significant role in the worldwide proliferation of the information technology industry. Many professionals of Korean descent have archived tremendous success in this area, either as engineers, founders of companies.

It appears, however, that many Koreans and Korean-Americans are disadvantaged by their lack of a support network and access to various resources.

KIN believes that the formation of such a network will promote the exchange of ideas and opportunities, increase access to various resources, and thereby help its members to achieve and maintain their pre-eminence in the IT filed.

  Mission

  • To develop an active, vital and international network of information technology professionals, companies and investors from both within and outside of Korea for purpose of exchanging ideas and opportunities and to promote the collegial and professional cooperation amongst such members.
  • To promote the development and exchange of ideas and technologies in information technology so that its members will always be at the leading edge of the information technology movement.
  • To promote the sharing of opportunities so that members can help each other find solutions to problems and increase access to resources and opportunities not otherwise available to individual members.
